"The
first time I saw Jeff ski in person was during a boat evaluation
session. It was a cold dreary Tennessee fall day. The testing was
complete when Jeff asked Ray Crenshaw to drive another set. I quickly
claimed the observer seat in hopes of seeing some great skiing.
Jeff stroked 39, and 41. He came in strong with a great gate and
one ball @ 43 off. He killed the 2 ball and skied just inside the
3 ball. Imagine being early at 3 @43 off. I've seen a lot of great
skiing during my career, but that set stands out as the greatest..."
